Lemon Cake Pops Are BACK at Starbucks, and They’re Just the Spring Pick-Me-Up We Need

Spring has sprung at Starbucks, even if everyone else is still feeling the winter chill. The Starbucks spring menu has already hopped into stores nationwide, featuring new bevvies like the Iced Pineapple Matcha Drink and the Iced Golden Ginger Drink. Not only that, but Starbucks is already delivering the good that help us all feeling a little bit brighter.

Lemon Cake Pops are officially back nationwide. We couldn’t imagine anything tasting better this spring!

It’s Almost Too Adorable to Eat

Lemon Cake Pops are back for the second year in a row, decked out in a sugar-encrusted, yellow chocolate shell. According to the Starbucks menu, the sugar bejeweling the outside is more of a sweet-and-sour topping, while the inside is packed with lemony white cake. It’s just the zesty, sweet thing we need to get us through the tail end of winter.

The Lemon Cake Pop was first spotted by Instagram user @JunkFoodontheGo, who just couldn’t resist taking a bite before snapping a photo. Last year’s taste testers were ecstatic to have it back, and we are, too. Did you know you can get a secret discount on Starbucks cake pops, too?
