The news of Starbucks holiday drinks has arrived! By all means, settle into your last Pumpkin Spice Latte or Apple Crisp Macchiato as you read this update.
Starbucks plans to launch its winter menu on November 4, 2021, bringing back the Peppermint Mocha and Caramel Brulee Latte. But don’t get too comfortable, Starbucks fans, because it looks like there are some changes headed our way. Here’s what we know about the 2021 holiday drink menu.

It looks like devotees of the popular Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulee Latte and Chestnut Praline Latte will enjoy sweet sips this year. Starbucks is also bringing back the Toasted White Mocha, a beloved holiday classic, and Irish Cream Cold Brew—for those who opt for iced drinks year round.
The Starbucks holiday menu has a brand-new beverage, too: the Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte!
Starbucks says this is its first-ever non-dairy holiday drink! It features Sugar Cookie-flavored syrup blended with blonde espresso, ice and creamy almond milk. Baristas will top each latte with red and green sprinkles. You can apparently order this beverage hot, too.
Are Any Holiday Drinks Being Removed?
Unfortunately, it looks that way. @markie_devo shared that the Gingerbread Latte and Eggnog Latte have missed the cut and won’t appear on the Starbucks holiday menu. That said, we’re huge fans of the Starbucks secret menu, and wouldn’t be surprised if a copycat recipe went viral for the gingerbread and eggnog fans.
The Holiday Cups Are Back, Too!
If this news wasn’t enough, Starbucks’ famous holiday cups are back for the season as well. For 2021, they feature designs inspired by gifts, our favorite holiday tradition. The first cup features a wrapping paper design, with circles, sparkles and glitter, and another features the sparkles and ribbons you’ll probably find scattered all over the living room once you’re done wrapping presents. The next cup is covered in sparkling holiday lights with bold, graphic letters that spell out Starbucks, while the last features green, white and lilac stripes that look like a candy cane. It doesn’t get more festive than this!
We can already hear the sleigh bells ringing—it’s time to get down to Starbucks for this Christmas goodness!
