The premise is super simple. And I mean super simple. You need a garment bag, a clothes hanger and a bit of space in your closet. Take your different-sized rolls of wrapping paper, place them in the garment bag, close the zipper and hang your wrapping paper up like it’s another piece of your dazzling winter wardrobe.

How simple is that?! No more wrestling with storage bins that seem to lose more and more space every year. Don’t even get me started on the wrapping paper rolls that are always slightly too long to fit. Besides, we already have so many storage bins stacked up in our basements, attics and garages—we don’t need to add another to the list!

If this particular hack doesn’t work for you, I have a couple more under wraps. Some have taken to using a camp chair bag as a holder for their rolls, while others have installed their own fancy wrapping paper displays for rolls and ribbons alike. You can slip tension rods through the middle cardboard tube and have wrapping paper ready to go any day, any time!
Or, you can be like my family and stuff all your wrapping paper rolls between the floor joists in your basement. Still got plenty of rolls down there as we speak. Remember, cheap and easy is always key.
