Almond Flour Bread
My almond flour bread recipe is keto-friendly. It's low in carbs with a fluffy, crumbly texture like a traditional loaf of bread. —Caroline Baines, Spokane, Washington
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk almond flour, chia seeds, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, whisk eggs, almond milk and melted butter; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Pour into a parchment-lined 8x4-in. loaf pan.
Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and top is golden brown, 25-30 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
Keto Almond Flour Bread Tips
Can you use almond flour in place of bread flour in other recipes?
No, we don't recommend using almond flour as a replacement for bread flour in other bread recipes. Using almond flour will affect the texture and taste.
How do you make almond flour bread rise?
You don't need to alter this recipe to have it rise! This almond flour bread rises due to the baking powder.
What does almond flour bread go well with?
Almond flour bread goes well by itself with a pat of butter on top. And because of its salty and slightly eggy taste, try making an egg sandwich with it for breakfast, like this open-faced egg sandwich recipe. These other low-carb breads would taste wonderful in a sandwich, too.
