As the weather gets warmer, we’ve all got our go-to cold treats—whether that’s Taco Bell’s slurp-worthy new Freeze, the creamy DQ summer Blizzards, or of course, a Wendy’s Frosty. While the classic chocolate and vanilla Frostys are the perfect follow-up to a Baconator burger, we definitely wouldn’t mind some new flavors—and Wendy’s has delivered!

Yep, we’ve got a fruity new Frosty on the menu, and of course, it’s a Strawberry Frosty, making it perfect for summer. Wendy’s announced the “berry” good news on Twitter, and one fan replied, “Just the kind of news we needed to survive the week after the long weekend.”
The Frosty was one of the five items on the original Wendy’s menu, way back when Dave Thomas opened the first outlet in 1969. The treat, which has a consistency smack between a milkshake and soft serve ice cream, doesn’t usually see much innovation, but this isn’t the first time they’ve served up a strawberry flavor. Wendy’s offered a Strawberry Frosty for a limited time back in 2010, made by blending their vanilla Frosty with strawberry syrup. We’re not sure if this will be the same, but we can’t wait to find out!
Where Can I Get One?
Unfortunately, if you live in the USA, you’ll have to hop over the border to get a bite of this tasty pink treat. The new Strawberry Frosty is only available in Canada right now. We’re keeping our fingers crossed in hopes that we’ll see it at our local Wendy’s soon, though!
Until then, don’t forget that Wendy’s is still offering up a great deal on their delicious Honey Butter Chicken Sandwiches. And if you want to experiment, you can always make your own Frosty at home—just sub in strawberry instead of chocolate!
