But now there’s a crisis at hand, and yes, it means we need to buy Girl Scout Cookies online. It seems there are about $3 million worth of cookies still waiting to be ordered. Who knew we’d ever run into this kind of problem?

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic seems to have hit every possible corner it could. Yes, even Girl Scout troops. Due to pandemic-related problems (like the lack of in-person sales), the Metro Atlanta Girl Scouts have around $3M worth of cookies still stowed away in a Georgia warehouse—that’s around 720,000 boxes.
The cookies left over include Caramel DeLites, Peanut Butter Patties and Trefoils. Is your state’s favorite Girl Scout Cookie on the list?

Yes! The most amazing change to the cookie-buying process was the ability to buy Girl Scout Cookies online. Talk about an absolute game-changer. (I bought around 20 boxes right off the bat from my roommate’s niece!) Now, we need to reach out and help the Metro Atlanta Girl Scouts in their time of need.
