How often do you wash the appliances in your home that are supposed to keep you clean? After taking a good look at the hard water deposits and mildew stains in and around the shower, this is a question we prefer not to linger on for too long.

It’s hard to top the efficiency of this shower cleaning hack. TikTok user @vaneamaro91 shows just how easy it really is to clean the surfaces in any shower by filling a reusable dishwashing brush with cleaning solution and scrubbing away while your weekly hair treatment sits.

Sparkling glass shower doors are just a few sprays away with this cleaning solution from @gocleanco. Grab a spray bottle, fill it with vinegar and one tablespoon of Dawn dish soap and spritz it all over the glass doors in your shower. The vinegar and dish soap combo will eat away at any hard water or soap stain residue, but if the buildup is on the heavier side, let the solution soak away overnight before wiping it clean. Here is a list of other cleaning products to have in your home.

3. Get Rid of Mold and Mildew

Mold and fungus commonly show up in humid shower spaces. Though unwelcome, there’s no need to worry since you can clean your grout with Clorox Tilex Mold and Mildew Remover and cotton balls. After putting on protective cleaning gloves, pull the cotton balls apart and set them over moldy areas. Spray with Tilex, let sit for 30 minutes, remove and rinse. It should look as good as new.

You can clean a shower head with a plastic bag! A shower head’s hard water stains are no match for this tip. All you need is a zip-close bag, about a cup of vinegar and some elastic bands. Once the vinegar is inside the plastic bag, gently shape it around your shower head, making sure that all of the spout holes are submerged. Secure it with elastics, and you’re good to go.
