If there’s anything we love more than Starbucks coffee (especially the secret menu drinks), it’s the incredible merch. Ranging from blingy, bright and shiny cold cups to themed mugs and tumblers, the coffee giant has something for every person.
So if you’re a Starbucks Rewards member who can’t get enough of their merch (like us), you’re going to love the latest news. Starbucks is sending out coupons for free merch!
How to Score a Free Starbucks Cup
The coupons are being sent out to a few lucky Rewards members at random, and can be used for any merch up to $20 (pre-tax). Unfortunately, we haven’t figured out a way to definitely get one, as these aren’t being sent out based on any criteria that we could find.
It doesn’t matter how much you spend or how often you go to Starbucks. You might get one—or you might not!
But if you do get one, an email will arrive in the inbox of the email address associated with your Starbucks Rewards account, so keep an eye out. Once you’re selected, you don’t have to do a thing. Starbucks will automatically add the coupon to your card. To see it, all you have to do is open the app on your phone, open the ‘scan’ tab, and tap the Star balance in the top left corner. You can then ask your barista to apply the coupon at the register if you’re at the store, or click Redeem in the email if you’re ordering ahead.
You might also want to check the Offers tab on your app, as some customers are receiving the coupon in-app as well, sometimes right after placing orders. The coupon appears to be valid anytime between 2/12/21-2/19/21.
