Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro leaves, stems removed (about 2 cups)
  • 1 bunch fresh mint leaves, stems removed (about 1 cup)
  • 3 to 4 whole green chili peppers
  • 3 garlic cloves, halved
  • Juice of 1 lemon or lime
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons water

Directions

  • In a blender, combine the first 8 ingredients; cover and process until smooth, adding water to achieve desired consistency.
