Yes, It’s True—Taco Bell Is Bringing Back Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes

When it comes to Taco Bell, it’s no surprise so many people are such big fans. I mean, how can you not be with a killer menu of Crunchwrap Supremes, Beefy Five-Layer Burritos and the coveted Nacho Fries?

But now, it’s time to listen closely. Early last year, Taco Bell broke a lot of hearts by removing fan-favorite items from the core menu. I was so incredibly sad when I found out my beloved potatoes had gotten the boot. And that, my friends, is why I’m so excited to announce…the official comeback of Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes! I might cry.

Here’s What We Know About the Menu

As a new jump into a vegetarian-friendly menu, Taco Bell has decided bring back a few much-loved items, as well as adding some new items that will be a whole different world for some die-hard fans. Besides just bringing back the Fiesta Potatoes, T-Bell has decided to team up with Beyond Meat to add some plant-based protein to the menu in 2021. Not only will it provide an option for those who don’t eat meat, but it’s there for others who may want to eat less red meat. It’s a win-win, honestly.

While eating healthy at Taco Bell can seem like a challenge, it is possible. And for those who want a little bit of change in their otherwise run-of-mill order, fans can even dabble in the amazing secret menu. If you’ve never had a Tie-Dye Freeze, you need one. STAT.

When Will Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes Be Back on the Menu?

These decadent little fiends are set to be back March 11, 2021. They’ll go for $1.49 each. Yes, I know, it seems like light-years away. But you can do it—I promise! Just a little bit longer. Maybe, just maybe…we’ll get the Mexican Pizza back, too.
