If you’re anything like us, you’ve been taking advantage of the holiday season by stocking up on all of our favorite Christmas snacks. (It’s hard to resist Target’s hot cocoa bombs and International Delight’s Elf-themed creamers, after all.) But not all things indulgent are a Christmas gift.
In this case, Oreo simply believes we deserve something sweet.
Oreo will kick 2021 off in the best way possible with the debut of an all-new cookie…and brownie. You have to try the brand-spankin’-new Oreo brookie!
What Is the Oreo Brookie?
If you’re not familiar with the term “brookie,” it’s a combination of a brownie and a cookie. Oreo is cramming all of that decadence between two, classic sandwich cookies. The Oreo brookie—officially dubbed the Brookie-O—is loaded with three layers of creme: brownie, cookie dough and original Oreo creme.
The announcement comes to us from @JunkFoodLeaks_, who had to share a snap of the new Oreo brookie. Look at those layers! According to JunkFoodLeaks_, the brownie flavor is powerful, while the cookie dough is slightly more subtle.
Overall, it got a great rating, so it’s definitely a must-try—but isn’t every Oreo a must-try?

When to Find the Oreo Brookie
The new Oreos will hit stores in January of 2021. Fortunately, these cookie-brownie hybrids will be available nationwide at your go-to retailers (Walmart, Target, Kroger, etc.), so you shouldn’t have trouble finding them once they officially debut. They’re limited edition, too, so the second you see a package, snap it up before Brookie-O’s disappear for good.
In the meantime, indulge in the classic crunch of Oreos with a colorful twist with rainbow Oreos.
