Healthcare Workers Can Score Free Starbucks Coffee Throughout December

With so much going on in the world right now, it’s easy to want to let our minds wander to more pleasant things. You know, like Starbucks’ highly-coveted holiday menu, or their undeniably adorable holiday merch. However, that’s not what we’re focusing on right now. Instead, we want to feature how Starbucks has decided to give appreciation to our front-line healthcare workers for their undying dedication and hard work.

Earlier this year, Starbucks highlighted the undertaking of first responders and healthcare workers by awarding them free coffee. Now, all healthcare workers can score free Starbucks coffee for the entire month of December.

How Does It Work?

It’s simple, really. Any and all types of healthcare workers can visit any Starbucks location and claim a tall coffee for free. Whether you like it iced or hot, it doesn’t matter—the deal is still on! This gesture may seem small in the scheme of things, but it’s important that our communities come together and recognize the unceasing commitment healthcare workers provide each and every day.

We love to see the kindness of others shine bright. It’s what makes the world go ’round! Being a healthcare worker can often be a thankless job, so we need to make sure they all feel heavily appreciated. It’s no easy feat taking care of everyone during a global pandemic. We may have a new normal, but we’re all still in this together.

Here Are a Few Ways You Can Give Back, Too

By following CDC cleaning and sanitizing guidelines, you can help decrease possible exposure of viruses and bacteria to those around you. It’s also important to recognize what the CDC has said about gathering for the holidays. While it may be a tough pill to swallow, our Christmas and New Year’s Eve get-togethers are going to look a lot different. We might be used to traveling and gathering with our families during this time of year, but by choosing to interact virtually instead of in person, we can help flatten the curve.

By heeding the words of the CDC, cleaning properly, wearing masks and maintaining social distancing, we can say thank you to our healthcare workers in our own way. They work far too hard already, don’t you think?
