Dunkin’ Just Dropped This Sugarplum Macchiato, and We’re Already in the Drive-Thru

Most Americans are know fantastical sounding sweets like sugarplums and figgy pudding from Christmas carols and stories, even if we’ve never eaten them. You might even know that sugarplums aren’t an actual fruit! This year, Dunkin’ has crafted a sugarplum macchiato—and we already have visions of sugarplums dancing in our heads.

Ever wondered what figgy pudding is? Wonder no more.

What Is a Sugarplum Macchiato?

If you’ve ever thought about what a sugarplum might taste like, here’s your chance to sample it. According to Dunkin’, this macchiato is crafted using a mix of bright berry flavors, including blueberry, raspberry, blackberry and plum, all tied together with vanilla notes and a sweet finish.

This fruit-filled drink isn’t just a wonder for your palate, it’s also a feast for you eyes. The Macchiato is a pretty shade of lavender on the bottom that gradually shifts to chocolaty brown.

Take a look—it’s practically begging to be Instagrammed!

The macchiato pairs perfectly with another equally photo-worthy Dunkin’ offering, the Frosted Snowflake Doughnut. This seasonal pastry is frosted in a royal shade of purple and topped with special snowflake-shaped sprinkles.

How Long Will It Be at Dunkin’?

The sugarplum maccchiato is a seasonal special, so it won’t be around for long. You should probably visit your nearest Dunkin’ ASAP for holiday cheer. You should be able to find this drink on the Dunkin’ app as well!
