CBS Will Be Airing Christmas Specials This Year Starting in November

It may only be the beginning of November, but we’d be lying if we said we weren’t already 100% into the Christmas vibes. It’s not like the Christmas music is just going to play itself, you know?

Whenever this time of year rolls around, I can’t help but fall face-first into nostalgia. Going to grandma’s house, helping her in the kitchen with the ham and eventually gathering around the tree with everyone in my family are some of my favorite holiday memories. Sometimes we’d have a quiet, traditional Christmas Eve with one another, and sometimes we’d indulge in festive Christmas movies (hello, Hallmark!) and games to pass the time. Frosty and friends always seemed to be there for us when we needed them.

What Specials Will CBS Be Airing?

Frosty and friends—namely Rudolph—are back this holiday season on CBS! There are a good handful of specials to be seen, so we’ll make sure you get all the details:

  • Frosty the Snowman, November 27 @ 8 PM ET
  • Frosty Returns, November 27 @ 8:30 PM ET
  • Robbie the Reindeer: Hooves on Fire, November 28 @ 8 PM ET
  • Robbie the Reindeer: Legend of the Lost Tribe, November 28 @ 8:30 PM ET
  • The Story of Santa Claus, November 28 @ 9 PM ET
  • Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, December 1 @ 8 PM ET

There are a few more recent animated specials in here as well as the nostalgic favorites we all grew up on. Can you believe Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will be airing for its 56th consecutive year? That’s incredible! We may have to pause our Netflix Christmas movie marathon, if only to catch of few of the classics on CBS.

Don’t Miss a Single Show!

It’s not quite Christmas without the classic, holiday gang, is it? The Story of Santa Clause includes voices from fan favorites Tim Curry and Betty White! Honestly, you couldn’t ask for a better cast.

If you’re anything like my family, there’s nothing you love more than scouring every channel for Christmas specials. Remember, the CBS specials start November 27, the day after Thanksgiving. Tune in, and have a happy holiday courtesy of CBS!

If you’re seriously on a Christmas kick, you won’t want to miss all of these festive Freeform flicks this year.
