This Is How to Order a ‘Dirty Werewolf’ Drink from the Starbucks Secret Menu

If you’ve been keeping up, you know we’ve dishing on the best of the best from Starbucks’ secret menu. There’s no better place to get your spooky sippers fit for fall, like The Nightmare Before Christmas-themed Jack Skellington and Sally Frappuccinos. Frappuccinos aren’t all the secret menu has to offer, though.

You’ll be howling at the moon until you get your paws on this beverage! Here’s how to order a Dirty Werewolf drink just in time for Halloween.

What’s in the Werewolf Drink?

This drink includes both tea and espresso, so you probably won’t transform into a werewolf, but you will get a caffeine kick. Start your order by ordering a hot Grande Chai Tea Latte with two shots of espresso. Next, ask the barista to include one pump of cinnamon dolce. If that’s not enough cinnamon dolce, you can gradually add more, but keep the pump count low at first, or this drink may be too spicy.

While Starbucks’ Chai Tea Lattes don’t get too fancy with the toppings, you can finish off this drink however you like. Ask for a dash of cinnamon sugar on top, or go all out with whipped cream and a couple sweeps of caramel drizzle.

Fur Real, What Does It Taste Like?

It was surprisingly good for a drink with the name “Dirty Werewolf!” To us, it tasted exactly like fall in a drink. It’s made with both espresso and chai, but the spiced chai notes really come through, and we loved that cinnamon flavor. It’s also really easy to order—you don’t have to memorize an outrageous recipe.

Next, we plan to try ordering the Werewolf Frappuccino.

Keep Your Barista in Mind

Even though this drink is simple, make sure you know the general recipe. Starbucks baristas aren’t trained on secret menu drinks, and since there are about a million flavor combinations, ordering the Dirt Werewolf drink by name may earn you some funny looks. You can easily put your order in via the mobile app. (It’s worth it to rack up those Starbucks Rewards stars!)
