Starbucks’ Zero Frappuccino Will Have You Barking Mad with Excitement

The Starbucks secret menu doesn’t seem to be so secret anymore. But that’s okay! The more we get to share these amazing recipes with other people, the better. I mean, everyone deserves to know how to order a Frankenstein Frappuccino, don’t you think?

You’ve probably seen our other Halloween secret menu recipes from The Nightmare Before Christmas, like the Jack Skellington Frappuccino and Sally Frappuccino. Well, good news! We finally have their faithful, ghostly pup to finish off the scary trifecta.

How to Order a Zero Frappuccino

Much like our other secret menu bevs, we’ve got Totally the Bomb to thank for this sweet and scary delight. Let’s get started!

First, you’ll want to order a Grande White Mocha Creme Frappuccino. The white coloring is very important for the ghostly aspect of the drink. Then, you’ll ask for one pump of Peppermint syrup to be added. Don’t be afraid to ask for a little more or less depending on your taste.

After that’s been blended up, you’ll want to ask for strawberry puree on top of the Frappuccino and underneath the whipped cream. As the puree sits on top of the blended drink, it will slowly drip down the sides like a cascade of blood. Oh, so creepy! The longer you let it sit, the scarier it gets. Now that’s my kind of drink!

Once the whipped cream is set and the drink seems complete, ask for a sprinkle of pumpkin spice topping or even a pump of pumpkin spice syrup. The orange is to signify the adorable pumpkin on the end of Zero’s nose. An absolute must, if you ask me!

How Long Will This Be Available?

Luckily, like the Sally Frappuccino, you can technically order this all year. The only missing piece would be the Pumpkin Spice topping, but you can always improvise your own. What really matters is how delicious it is, and how you’ll probably want to keep ordering it even as the season turns to winter and spring.

Before you order, make sure you have the recipe ready at the drive-thru. Starbucks baristas aren’t trained on secret menu drinks, so if you make a scene—get it?—you may not end up with the right drink. Carefully read off the ingredients and instructions to your barista, or input your order via the mobile app.
