Much of the kitchen appliance glory goes to the big-ticket items—like the oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. But it’s the small appliances that see us through our everyday routine. No one could make it through the week without a coffee maker, after all.
GE is most well-known for its ranges and refrigerators. Now, the iconic kitchen brand is offering a lineup of small appliances, complete with toaster ovens and electric kettles.
Which Appliances Is GE Offering?
GE is back in the small appliance game for the first time since 1984 with a line of 19 brand-new products—and they offer plenty of bells and whistles for those of us who want more from our toasters and food processors. The brand is already known for its long-lasting appliances, like refrigerators, so we expect to see the same quality here, too.
GE 2-Slice Toaster
You can make your bagel just the way you like it, because this toaster comes equipped with seven different doneness settings. That’s the most complex thing about this toaster, though. The reviewers praise the simple design and “easy-to-use straightforward controls.”
GE 6-Slice Toaster Oven with Convection Bake
If you don’t already have a convection oven, you’re missing out. This setting is ideal for making the perfect pie crust, roasted vegetables and roasts. That’s why we’re so excited about GE’s toaster oven, which has eight cooking modes: toast, bake, broil, bagel, pizza, roast, keep warm and, of course, convection.
It has enough space inside to fit a 13×9 pan, a 12-inch pizza or six slices of toast!
GE Classic Drip 12-Cup Coffee Maker
If you want to make a good cup of coffee, this appliance is for you. Like the toaster, this appliance is fairly straightforward, with simple controls to help program the coffee maker to start at a certain time. In other words, expect a hot cup of coffee as soon as you’re up in the morning. With convenience like this, who needs Starbucks?
Where Can I Buy GE Appliances?
You can find them exclusively at Best Buy right now. Look for the appliances on bestbuy.com as well as in Best Buy stores. Later this month, the appliance will start to appear at other retailers, as well as on geappliances.com.
