When fall rolls around, it seems like pumpkin spice lattes always hog the spotlight. Not that we don’t absolutely love our PSLs, but when you’re a pumpkin fanatic such as myself, you crave variety. And while Dunkin’ is a solid option with their pumpkin spice doughnuts and Munchkins, there’s a whole ‘nother company beckoning for me.
You guessed it—Krispy Kreme!
Well, it’s time to visit your nearest shop, because this year Krispy Kreme is introducing a Pumpkin Spice Doughnut collection. I can almost smell the fresh, hot doughnuts already.
What’s in the Pumpkin Spice Doughnut Collection?
Hopefully you got the opportunity to taste the cheesecake-filled pumpkin spice doughnut last year. Yes, it’s a delectable, glazed pumpkin spice doughnut stuffed with cream cheese. Listen, I’m not usually one for stuffed doughnuts, but even this one was too hard to resist! Luckily, they’re back for 2020.
There are four different seasonal doughnuts at Krispy Kreme, including the cheesecake-filled doughnut. The collection also include the original glazed pumpkin spice doughnut and the pumpkin spice cake doughnut. Both are super solid options and perfect as PSL sidekicks.
As for the fourth doughnut…it’s brand new! Krispy Kreme is introducing the pumpkin spice cinnamon roll doughnut. When I first heard about this flavor, I nearly fainted. It consists of the classic pumpkin spice doughnut rolled in a sweet pumpkin spice sugar blend and covered in cream cheese and cinnamon icing. Wow. Yeah, I’ll be ordering a dozen of those ASAP, please.
Look at this goodness:
How Long Will the Collection Be at Krispy Kreme?
The entire month of September. Yes—the ENTIRE month! That means you have time to go today, pick up a dozen, eat those, go back tomorrow, pick up another dozen and eat those…it’s basically heaven.
Head over to Krispy Kreme before it’s too late and have yourself a pumpkin-filled month!
