I was browsing through tips from r/foodhacks on Reddit when I found this handy trick to cook the eggs for your breakfast sandwich in a mason jar lid. This trick is so simple, I can’t believe I’ve never thought of it! I’ve got tons of extra mason jars sitting around the kitchen. While I’ve been known to try as many mason jar recipes as I can get my hands on, I can never find a good way to reuse the lids. Until now!

Instead of just cracking your egg in a pan, you put the metal section of a mason jar lid in the pan first. Then you crack your egg straight into the opening, and voila! Your egg cooks within the mason jar lid and comes out perfectly circular.
Next, pile it all on top of your English muffin. Add some cheese and bacon, and you’ve got a breakfast sandwich that looks professional. Saturday mornings will never be the same!
