Starbucks Has a Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino on the Secret Menu—Here’s How to Order

What’s not to love about the Starbucks secret menu? With a little creativity and a good understanding of Starbucks’ usual ingredients, you can create just about any bevvie to suit your needs. Keep it sweet with a crumbly Cookies and Cream Frappuccino, or indulge guilt-free with a Skinny Pink Drink.

If it’s peanut butter you’re craving, look no further than the Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino! This secret menu item combines smooth chocolate with a nutty syrup, all wrapped up in a to-go cup for easy summer sippin’.

How to Order a Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino

Unlike some secret menu drinks, the Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino is relatively simple. Start out with a Mocha Frappuccino—the size is totally up to you—and request a couple pumps of Toffee Nut syrup. That will be two pumps for a Tall, three for a Grande and four for a Venti.

Most Frappuccinos comes with whole milk, but you’ll need to substitute that for soy. Starbucks’ soy milk comes sweetened, and it really adds the legs to this drink, whereas a whole milk Frappuccino would turn out less flavorful. Finally, top it all off with whipped cream and a bit of mocha drizzle. Pro Tip: ask your barista to paint the cup with mocha, and thank us later.

Will This Be on the Official Menu?

Believe it or not, the Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino isn’t only available on the secret menu. To close out summer, Starbucks in the UK released two all-new Frappuccinos: the Chocolate Marshmallow S’mores Frappuccino and, you guessed it, the Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino. Unfortunately, there’s no telling if the official drink will be headed our way, but for the time being, this recipe does its job when it comes to curbing the peanut buttery craving.

Keep Your Barista in Mind!

Before you order, make sure you have this recipe pulled up or memorized. Baristas aren’t trained on secret menu drinks—since there are so many—and you’ll have to walk them through it. You can also carefully input your order via the Starbucks app. It’s a simpler way to make sure you get the best out of your Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino every time.
