Everyone’s favorite ’90s snack, Dunkaroos, made a comeback earlier this year, and fans went wild. It seems like a lot of people remember the magic of vanilla cookies and frosting dip all in one handy container. (Speaking of magic, did you know Dunkaroos is coming out with a breakfast cereal?!)
If you indulged in Dunkaroos when you were a kid, you’re probably old enough to crack open a brewski or two this weekend—but now you can enjoy a cold one with a taste of nostalgia. Prepare to be wowed, because you’re about to learn about the existence of Dunkabroos. That’s right, Dunkaroos beer!
How Can Beer Taste Like Dunkaroos?
This hard-to-believe concoction is the product of Martin House Brewing Company in Fort Worth, Texas. The 8% ABV beverage is brewed with cookies, vanilla cream, lactose and sprinkles (!), ensuring you’ll get a taste of nostalgia with every sip.
On Instagram, the brewery describes it as tasting like a “sweet, cookie filled brew that even has that frosting finish.” We don’t need more convincing than that. We’re there!
Still craving some nostalgic flavor? You’ve gotta get your hands on a prodigal Choco Taco.
Don’t Head Out Just Yet
Now for the bad news. Dunkabroos was just released last week as an exclusive in the taproom, and customers were limited to buying four 4-packs. Even so, the brewery sold out of this amazing flavor in just two days! Thankfully, Martin House Brewing plans to bring the extremely popular beer back soon.
Whenever Dunkabroos does come back in stock, you’ll have to meander down to Fort Worth to get your hands on a can of your own. Unfortunately, state legislation doesn’t allow Texan breweries to ship beer. But hey, now you know where to stop on next summer’s road trip.
