Cracker Barrel Just Added 2 BRAND-NEW Entrees—And We’re Placing an Order Immediately

We’ve always enjoyed a hearty plate of comfort-food from Cracker Barrel. With the addition of home delivery, the past few months have been no different. Now there are a few extra reasons to love Cracker Barrel—including the addition of two new entrees to the classic menu: Chicken Pot Pie and Maple Bacon Chicken. Our mouths are already watering.

New Comfort Food Classics

It’s hard to believe that chicken pot pie wasn’t already on the menu, but we’re thrilled that it’s joined the comfort food club. This savory dish is made with slow-simmered chicken, potatoes, peas, carrots, celery and onions mixed with a deliciously creamy sauce and topped with a golden, flaky pastry crust.

The second new entree on the menu is Maple Bacon Grilled Chicken. It’s two grilled chicken breasts topped with a sweet and smoky maple glaze, crispy bacon and melted cheese. With two chicken breasts and your choice of two sides, there’s a good possibility you’ll have leftovers.

Of course, both of these new meals come with your choice of hand-rolled buttermilk biscuits or corn muffins. An impossible choice in my book. I always ask for both, but with the addition of a new online store, you can stock up on Biscuit and Dumpling Mix for a later date.

Even More Weekly Specials

There’s also a few new specials to look forward to—Homemade Meatloaf is available Monday through Friday, from 11 AM to 4 PM (while they last). On Saturdays, you can enjoy the new Country Fried Pork Chops. And on Sundays, it’s the irresistible Pot Roast Supper made of oven-braised beef roast with potatoes, carrots, onions, celery and tomatoes in a savory beef broth.

Dine Out or Dine In

Cracker Barrel is opening up some dining rooms across the States, so you can enjoy these savory entrees live and in person—while respecting social distancing regulations, of course. For those that prefer to dine at home, curbside pick-up and delivery are still options. With so many choices, we think there should be a few extra days in the week!
