Is there anything more annoying than stained Tupperware or other plastic food storage containers? It happens when you store spaghetti sauce or other tomato-based leftovers. You start out with a nice, clean container and then, after you store some marinara, tragedy strikes. No matter how hard you scrub, that container is destined to remain orange-ish red. It usually migrates to the back of the cupboard in shame.
Well, it’s time to welcome that exiled container back into your weekly rotation. Here’s how to get stains out of Tupperware, according to a video on TikTok!
How Do I Clean My Containers?
Seriously, it’s so easy you could do this in your sleep. You’ll want to put some dish soap in the container, then add some warm water. Then, tear up a few pieces of paper towel and put them in the container, too. Pop the lid on and shake the container vigorously for 45 seconds to a minute. Then, rinse the soapy water and paper towel out. You’ll have stain-free Tupperware. Ta-daaaaaaaa!
