There are two types of people on Thanksgiving: Those who celebrate the holiday to its fullest and those who start Black Friday shopping on Thursday.
In a growing national trend, some stores are joining the first group. Despite the fact that plenty of people leap at the chance to bargain-hunt on Turkey Day itself, these companies are giving employees some well-deserved family time instead. Even Walmart is closing up shop on Thanksgiving in order to give employees some definitely hard-earned time off with their families as a thank you for standing strong during a trying time. Of course, Walmart might still cash in on Black Friday, as the hours of operation haven’t been announced just yet.
According to TheBlackFriday.com, these chains will be closed for Thanksgiving Day:
