It’s no secret that we’re fans of Olive Garden. What’s not to be obsessed with? Everyone loves fast-casual Italian food from time to time, and whether you’re picking it up to go or making a copycat recipe at home, Olive Garden is always a hit.
It’s no surprise that we were thrilled to learn the chain is reviving a glorious dish this year: giant chicken Parmesan. And “giant” isn’t an exaggeration. This thing is as long as a football! Read on for the details—and discover how to bring it home for dinner.
It’s Back—and Better Than Ever!
Yep, chicken Parmesan fans, you read that right. This is the dish of your dreams: an 11.5-inch chicken Parm topped with marinara and mozzarella cheese, and a side of fettuccine Alfredo. That’s a whole lot of zesty, gooey goodness on one plate. It’ll cost you around $20, which seems a small price to pay for such bliss.
We’re not the only ones who think so, apparently. The Giant Chicken Parmigiana debuted in 2019 as part of Olive Garden’s Giant Italian Classics menu, which also included a super-sized spaghetti and meatballs. It must’ve done well enough to merit bringing it back, although there’s currently no word on whether the rest of the menu’s getting revived after their departure on May 27 of last year. For now, we’re more than happy with the chicken Parm.
Think you know all there is to know about Olive Garden? We bet these facts are news to you!
Where Can I Get It?
