Is it too early to say “Season’s Greetings”? Not according to M&M’s. The shelled chocolate tycoon is always rolling out unexpected flavors we can’t help but indulge in, from Fudge Brownie to last Halloween’s spine-chilling Creepy Cocoa Crisp. This July, M&M’s is celebrating the most wonderful time of the year a little early.
M&M’s just announced a brand-new flavor for Christmas. Your stocking isn’t complete without the sweetest holiday treat—Sugar Cookie M&M’s!
They’re All We Want for Christmas
Set out M&M’s for Santa this year, because this flavor is just as decadent as a freshly-baked batch of sugar cookies. The shell is made of white chocolate and sugar cookie flavoring, locking in a crispy, cookie center. They won’t clash with your holiday decor, either; the red, green and white candy will make a perfect centerpiece (but good luck keeping hands out of the bowl).
M&M’s superfans have a chance to try these out before anyone else. All you have to do is comment on a post from either M&M’s Twitter or Instagram on Saturday, July 25 to be entered to win a package of your own. Think of it like an early Christmas gift, but much, much sweeter.
Dear Santa, can you please bring Hot Cocoa M&M’s back, too?
When Will Sugar Cookie M&M’s Be Available?
You’ll have to hold your metaphorical horses. Sugar Cookie M&M’s will officially be released sometime in November. The Share Size 3.22-ounce bag will retail for just $1.89—a holiday bargain.
There’s no telling which retailers will carry Sugar Cookie M&M’s, but your best bets are Walmart, Target and grocery stores. No matter where you find them, be sure to fill up your cart as soon as you see them. The holidays need a mouthful of Sugar Cookie M&M’s!
