It seems like one mainstay of stay-at-home will be staying with us: Disney’s regular recipe releases. During the COVID-19 quarantine, they shared plenty of recipes to help us stay busy, including park favorites like Dole whip, French toast, Mickey beignets, churros and more.
Now, it seems like Disney will continue to bless us with at-home versions of our favorite vacation desserts, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have this apple pie recipe in our lives.
It’s the Perfect Comfort Food
Hailing from Whispering Canyon Café at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge in Orlando, this apple pie is American as can be. Disney posted it for the Fourth of July, but we’re pretty sure this treat will taste just as incredible on any other day of the year.
Their Disney blog post says 1 in 5 Americans admit to eating a whole pie by themselves, and we’re inclined to say that’s an accurate statistic. We could definitely finish this treat without help! Plus, it seems pretty easy to make at home—you probably have all the ingredients in your pantry.
The instructions are straightforward and clear, so even if you’re not a pie-baking pro, you’ll be able to get this one in the oven. You can check out Disney’ video below, and find the apple pie recipe on the Disney Parks blog.
