There’s something about boozy citrus drinks that feels right for summer. And if sweet and boozy is your thing, Bud Light has a new fruity beverage for you. Budweiser introduced Bud Light Lemonade earlier this year, and now the brand has outdone itself with a new addition: Strawberry Lemonade beer!
Bud Light Is Making Strawberry Lemonade Beer?
That’s right, this isn’t a spiked seltzer or hard lemonade, but real light beer that’s 4% ABV, so you can sip it all afternoon. This new Bud Light flavor is pale and golden like a typical lager, but one sniff and you’ll catch the unmistakable scent of strawberries.
There’s just a small catch: Bud Light Strawberry Lemonade is being sold exclusively in Canada, at least for the time being. It appears that Canadians are having all the fun, because Bud Light Strawberry Lemonade is just the tip of the iceberg. In Canada, you can also buy Bud Light Orange and Bud Light Apple!
Where do you think Bud Light placed in our taste test of 28 beer brands?
We Have Some American Alternatives, Though
We’re hoping this Bud Light offering makes its way to the U.S. For now, Americans have to make do with Bud Light Lemonade or Bud Light Lime. In the meantime, we recommend Natural Light’s Naturdays, an easy-drinking strawberry lemonade beer.
