There are three certainties in life: death, taxes and Harry Potter. Seriously, the franchise has been running since the first book’s release in 1998, and after 20+ years, it shows no signs of slowing down. The books have fans around the world, all of whom undoubtedly wish they could go to Hogwarts.
That yearning to explore Hogsmeade, to be sorted into a Hogwarts house or to take magical classes (which you can do virtually) has inspired a variety of Potter-themed experiences, including this truly epic Airbnb.
Get Your Wands and Spellbooks Ready!
Seriously, if you’re a fan of Harry Potter, this Airbnb, called “Wizard’s Way,” is the perfect getaway. The rooms seem like they’ve all been copied and pasted from the chapter illustrations; they mimic house common areas, the Forbidden Forest, the Whomping Willow, Platform 9-3/4 and more.

Of course, the incredible detail in the rooms isn’t the only talking point. The place offers some serious interactivity, including ambient lighting or steam from the Hogwarts Express’ smokestack. There’s also a pool in which you can pretend to open your Triwizard Tournament egg, and a theater, where you can binge-watch all the movies (because what else would you do there?!). You’d definitely want to make a few of these magical Harry Potter recipes in the kitchen, too.
The villa is located at the Champion’s Gate Resort grounds, so visitors can also use the resort amenities, like golf courses and a waterpark.
If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ll want to hear Daniel Radcliffe read the first chapter of The Sorcerer’s Stone.
How Much Does This Cost?
You’re probably assuming the place carries a hefty price tag. You can rent Wizard’s Way on Airbnb for $575 a night, which, if you go with 15 of your closest friends to fill all the rooms, comes out to around $35 per person. Of course, you’ll have the place to yourselves, and you’re located a half-hour from Universal Studios and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Sure, many of us are still in the process of accepting that we haven’t gotten a letter from Hogwarts. But this is definitely the next-best thing to taking Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts classes in a magical castle—and we’re pretty sure it’s cheaper, too. So head to Gringotts and inform them you’d like to make a withdrawal, because for Potterheads, it doesn’t get any better than this!
