Now You Can Send Starbucks to Your Friends, Courtesy of Uber Eats

As much as we love catching up on all of our favorite baking projects, it can get a little lonely around the house. Fortunately, there are a few ways to keep up your social life, like sending Sunshine Boxes to your friends and hosting virtual dinner parties. Still, wouldn’t it be nice if there was another way to remind friends and family you’re thinking of them? Well, now there is!

Uber Eats and Starbucks are teaming up to bring your loved ones the gift of a freshly brewed coffee.

Uber Eats Is Delivering All the Goods—Literally

Earlier this week, Starbucks and Uber Eats launched the #ShareaCup program, which includes the new feature we’ve all been waiting for. You can officially send goodies to your friends in the shape of a sweet latte and bakery goodie from Starbucks. All you have to do is put in your friend’s address, just like you’re ordering for yourself, and you’ll be able to share the delivery status with them, assuming they have the Uber Eats app downloaded on their smartphone.

What’s better is you can send surprises to friends in other states and even other countries if Uber Eats is available in that location. The same rule applies, and the delivery will be sent to their door via the nearest store in their area. The feature is also available at participating restaurants, not just Starbucks.

And, hey, maybe your friends will love it so much they’ll send you a little something back!

Here’s why Starbucks is doing to go orders only.

Why We Love Uber Eats

Not only is Uber Eats stepping it up for your friends, but they’re helping out communities, too. Uber Eats is handing out free meals to first responders in the U.S. and Canada, and waiving delivery fees from more than 100,000 local restaurants. If you’ve got any loved ones on the front lines, now’s the perfect time to send them a little love. Nothing says thank you like a Starbucks Frappuccino!
