Another Friday, another amazing Disney show to stream. The beloved brand is helping us kick off our holiday weekend on the right foot, err, paw. Tonight, you can catch a prerecorded version of The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands from Disneyland Paris. Here’s what you need to know.
This Is One of the Disney Magic Moments
“Ready to roar with the lions and sing with a meerkat and warthog?” That’s what was promised when the show was announced earlier today on Disney’s official social media platforms. Be prepared to watch in wonder as singers, acrobats and dancers bring the story of Pride Rock to life. You (and the kiddos!) will hear all of your favorite Lion King songs, including “Circle of Life,” “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” and, of course, “Hakuna Matata.”
This virtual experience is yet another part of the ongoing #DisneyMagicMoments campaign, which has included sharing recipes, posting ride experiences and announcing other behind-the-scenes content to engage fans while the parks are closed. Last week, Disney brought us all things spooky as part of its #Halfway2Halloween initiative. Check out the “Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” fireworks show and some tasty Halloween treats.
Before that, Disney blessed our feed with recipes for Dole whip, homemade churro bites and Woody’s Lunch Box grilled cheese.
Here’s How to Watch
Tune in tonight at 7 p.m. Eastern on Disney’s official Facebook and Instagram accounts. Bonus points if you don your best animal print and let that mane run wild. (It’s OK, we all need a haircut.)
Psst! For extra fun, download Disney’s Lion King activity sheets in advance of tonight’s show. They give you the chance to bring your favorite character to life! Or, catch up on all of the Lion King movies on Disney+.
