It’s our favorite time of the year: Girl Scout cookie season! OK, it might not be a real season, but we always look forward to it. Unfortunately, Girl Scout cookie season was cut short this year, and many girls and councils haven’t been able to sell their inventory due to social distancing. Knowing that there are lots of cookies to go around, the Girl Scouts have announced a new program that lets you order online and have cookies shipped directly to your home.
Think you can guess the most beloved Girl Scout cookie in America?
How to Order Girl Scout Cookies Right Now
While the organization has suspended in-person events like Girl Scout Cookie booths to keep girls safe, you can still score your favorite cookies through Girl Scouts Cookie Care. It’s a new program that lets you order cookies online from the comfort of home. Then, they’ll be delivered right to your doorstep. We can’t wait to get our hands on a box of the new tart and crispy Lemon-Ups!
Just a heads up, shipping and handling on orders of 1-12 packages is $12.
How Donate a Box to Local Causes
Through the Girl Scouts Cookie Care program, you can also donate cookies to first responders, volunteers and other local causes. Just choose the “Cookie Share” option to donate to a charitable organization chosen by your Girl Scout troop. Whether you decide to purchase cookies for yourself or donate to those working on the front lines, your purchase will allow Girl Scouts to continue to perform their mission. We love to buy cookies for a good cause!
Psst! You Can Make Copycat Girl Scout Cookies
We all know it to be true: Thin Mints are the queen of all Girl Scout cookies. These crisp chocolate cookies are dipped in a minty chocolate coating, just like their scouting cousins.

Girl Scouts first published the recipe for the original s'more all the way back in the '20s. Today, they reinvented the campfire snack as an anytime cookie much like these. For an authentic s'mores experience, swap the cookie butter for a chocolatey spread.
