The Starbucks Lemon Meringue Frappuccino Looks (and Tastes!) Like a Cup of Granted Wishes

Starbucks is breaking ground with an all-new spring menu, which includes the lovely Iced Pineapple Matcha Drink and Iced Golden Ginger Drink. Don’t get us wrong—we love the look and taste of these spring sippers, but some days, only a Starbucks Frappuccino can satisfy our cravings.

Specifically: the Lemon Meringue Frappuccino.

This all-new Frappuccino looks like magic in a cup…with one catch. It’s only available in Malaysia. Don’t sweat, though—we’ve got the insider info to help you order on this elusive Frappuccino wherever you are.

Say Hello to Our New Favorite Frappuccino

Combining sweet, creamy meringue with tangy lemon, this Frappuccino is like no other on the menu. While we don’t know the official recipe, we can deduce there’s a lemonade + Frappuccino roast blend at the base. It’s all topped off with whipped cream, a sweet and sour lemon drizzle and airy dollops of meringue.

The Lemon Meringue Frappuccino was spotted by @JunkFoodontheGo via Instagram. The Malaysian promo also features a Hazelnut Cold Foam Iced Espresso with Coffee Jelly. We’d book a flight for one sip of either drink!

Make sure you’re not missing out on these Starbucks secret menu items.

How to Make Your Own

Just because it’s in Malaysia doesn’t mean you can’t order a copycat Lemon Meringue Frappuccino here. A gracious commenter (and former barista) on @JunkFoodontheGo’s post shared that a similar beverage can be made if you ask for a White Mocha Creme Frappuccino with a lemonade base. It’s a close recreation, sans the coffee and meringue, and definitely worth a try.

Believe it or not, Starbucks also released a Lemon Bar Frappuccino back in 2015, though it has been retired to the secret menu. The recipe card can be found in most stores, but you’ll still have to know the ingredients if you want it made right. Just order a Vanilla Creme Frappuccino (or a Vanilla Bean Creme, if you really want that sweetness), and ask for a lemonade base.

Having made and tried both versions myself, I can attest to all that lemony goodness. If you’ve got a chance to stop by Starbucks Malaysia, the Lemon Meringue Frappuccino is definitely worth a sip!
