Since their invention in 1984, Choco Tacos have been a sensation. It’s no surprise! I mean, the crunchy, creamy treat is a frozen mashup of the two best foods—ice cream and tacos. Each sugar cone taco is stuffed with vanilla ice cream, drenched in a fudgy coating and sprinkled with crunchy peanuts.
But. There was also a limited edition chocolate Choco Taco, with chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla. And it’s suddenly back in stores?!
Yep—It’s a CHOCOLATE Choco Taco
It’s been a few years since we’ve seen Klondike’s chocolate Choco Tacos for sale, but Instagram user @DadBodSnacks recently spotted one at 7-Eleven.
“The Chocolate Choco Taco has returned!! After a long hiatus away, the all-chocolate ice cream version of the beloved Choco Taco by @klondikebar has popped up at @7eleven,” he says.
Chocolate Choco Tacos are back. Dunkaroos are back. With the return of childhood favorites like this, is it possible for other tasty blasts from the past to get revived, too?
This Is Where to Find One
Lucky for us, chocolate Choco Tacos are available right now at 7-Eleven stores. It seems like they may be at a handful of local grocery store chains, too, but we’ll keep an eye on it. Until we hear anything else official, 7-Eleven is the place to go for Choco Tacos with chocolate ice cream!
