Sonic Has Reese’s Ice Cream Right Now, and We’re Already at the Drive-In

No matter how many fresh flavor combos hit the shelves, peanut butter and chocolate will always be a classic twosome. Sonic got the memo, and the drive-in is giving us TWO new treats: a Reese’s Blast and a Reese’s Overload Waffle Cone.

We haven’t been this excited about Sonic since they had a Pickle Juice Slush.

What’s in the Reese’s Blast?

Sonic is taking peanut butter and chocolate to the next level right now. The trademark Sonic Blast is being transformed into a Reese’s Overload Blast, featuring ice cream blended with creamy peanut butter and mini Reese’s Pieces, plus more mini Reese’s Pieces AND Reese’s peanut butter cups on top! It reminds us of the Reese’s Blizzard, but with Reese’s Pieces.

The other treat is a Reese’s Overload Waffle Cone. It’s an enormous chocolate waffle cone with a layer of peanut butter and real ice cream, drizzled with more peanut butter. Of course, the cone is topped with mini Reese’s Pieces and Reese’s peanut butter cups. You can never have too much of a good thing!

FYI: You can have a taste of Sonic without even getting in your car.

How Long Will Sonic Have Reese’s Treats?

Sonic introduced these limited edition treats on March 2, but they won’t stick around forever. You’ll have the better part of two months, though, because the drive-in will keep them around until May 3. We bet this would pair perfectly with a chili cheese dog and tater tots, so head to your Sonic ASAP!
