What Are the New Lay’s Flavors?
The three new flavors are intense. Here’s a quick look:
- Cheddar Jalapeno is the best of both worlds, cheesy with sharp cheddar flavor matched with a spicy chili pepper kick.
- If that’s not enough heat for you, you’ll be excited to dig into a bag of Kettle Cooked Flamin’ Hot. If that flavor sounds familiar, it’s because Lay’s Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle exist, too.
- For those who can’t take the heat, look out for tangy Sea Salt & Vinegar. Instead of classic chips, this flavor will come in the form of airy Lay’s Poppables.

When Will the New Flavors Be Available?
The three Lay’s flavors will be for sale sometime in January, according to the company. Individual bags of Lay’s Cheddar Jalapeno and Lay’s Kettle Cooked Flamin’ Hot chips will retail for $1.89, while a five-ounce bag Lay’s Poppables Sea Salt & Vinegar will cost $3.79.
