Your Mondays are about to get a whole lot better. Krispy Kreme just introduced mini doughnuts, which is already exciting enough, but now they’ve sweetened the release even more. KK is giving away the minis for free!
Why Mini Doughnuts?
Krispy Kreme has released plenty of special edition flavors in the past, from birthday cake batter to Reese’s doughnuts, so it was only a matter of time before they forayed into the miniature category.
The minis are itty-bitty versions of four beloved flavors:
- Original Glazed
- Chocolate Iced Glazed
- Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles
- Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles
Don’t forget to pick up a coffee, too! Here’s why.
We’re Interested. Are They Healthy?
The Original Glazed mini is only 90 calories! Keep in mind that these mini doughnuts are still doughnuts at the end of the day, but they do have less calories, fat, and sugar than their big brothers and sisters.
According to Krispy Kreme, a small cheat is proven to help keep your New Year’s resolutions on track. To stick with your healthy eating plan for 2020, all you need is a mini treat.
How to Score Free Doughnuts
Stop into your local Krispy Kreme location every Monday in January from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to enjoy one freebie. Before you head in, confirm on their website that your location is participating in the “Mini Mondays” promotion. Don’t fret if your store isn’t partaking in the Monday fun, though. These new arrivals will stay on as permanent menu items.
When February rolls around, you’ll want to start making your own doughnuts instead. Good luck!
