Star Wars is without a doubt one of the most popular franchises in the history of cinema. Everything from kitchen gadgets to Le Creuset cookware has been released to pay homage to this intergalactic adventure. Now, Disney+ has expanded the franchise with the release of The Mandalorian, but the galaxy’s latest lone ranger isn’t exactly the star of the show.
Target has spoken, and Baby Yoda figurines are soon landing on a shelf near you. Here’s why you should snap yours up before the Jawas get there first.
They’re the Cutest in the Universe
Target is kicking off the new year with the release of Baby Yoda figurines, and they’re all cute as can be. They come in all sorts of adorable poses, one where he sips the iconic bone broth and another where he’s swaddled in a blanket with an extra-terrestrial ear poking through. Other Baby Yoda figurine poses include him reaching out—presumably using the Force, munching on a frog, playing with a ball and begging our hero not to leave.
They stand (or sit) 3.25 inches tall and 6.75 inches wide, so this guy won’t take up too much space. Baby Yoda figurines are the best gift you could give for any occasion. A Star Wars-themed birthday party, perhaps?

Unfortunately, you won’t find Baby Yoda in stores until May 25. It’s looking like they will be available on Target’s website, though. Baby Yoda is actually referred to as “The Child” in The Mandalorian. So, if you’re surfing Target’s site, you may want to try those buzzwords first. A 2-pack of all the Baby Yoda cuteness you can handle is only $16. We don’t know about you, but we’ll be first in line on May 25 to buy up all of these guys.
