Starbucks Japan Is Making a Gorgeous Strawberry Cake Frappuccino for the Holidays

The seasonal drinks at Starbucks are a delicious perk of winter. The perfect cup of hot chocolate is great for warming up, but we can’t blame you if you’re craving something else besides the traditional cocoa or latte. Instead, some folks will celebrate the holidays by sipping a Strawberry Cake Frappuccino.

The catch? Like the most outrageous Halloween Frappuccinos, this drink is only available at Starbucks in Japan.

What’s in the Strawberry Cake Frappuccino?

The sweet Strawberry Cake Frappuccino will put you in high spirits! The flavor of the drink is cake creme, and there’s a shortbread and cake crumb base. There’s also a layer of strawberry sauce, which includes fresh fruit. Like other Frappuccinos, you’ll get a generous amount of whipped cream on top. Last but not least, there’s a sprinkle of crunchy freeze-dried strawberry.

This tweet from Starbucks Japan promises that the Frappuccino has “texture and taste like a cake” and will give you a “quick Christmas feeling:”

What’s on the Starbucks Holiday Menu in the US?

Well, a few highlights include the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulee Latte, Peppermint Mocha and Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate. If you were lucky enough to snag one of the free reusable holiday cups, then all your grande-sized holiday drinks at Starbucks will be 50 cents off until January.

This popular drink is missing from the Starbucks holiday menu, too.
