Oreo hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down this year. If anything, milk’s favorite cookie has been busier than ever, treating us to all kinds of seasonal snacks, from cool Baskin-Robbins Mint Chocolate Chip to S’mores Oreos that were just perfect for around the campfire. Even more recently, they announced the re-release of Peppermint Bark Oreos, which will be rolling into stores around the jolly season. We naively assumed Christmas flavors spelled the end for new Oreos in 2019, and we couldn’t have been more wrong.
Now, Oreo is challenging their devoted fans in the sweetest way possible. Put your taste buds to the test and pick up a pack of Mystery Oreos for the chance to win the grand prize of $50,000!
Here’s What We Know
Oreo is releasing three different Mystery OREO packs and each one will have a different clue. You’ll have to snap up all three packs to get a full profile on the mystery flavor. The folks at Nabisco will also be dropping hints on Facebook for eagle-eyed Oreo fans, and the first one is that you won’t find anything different in the cookie itself. The secret is in the creme.
There are no limits on entries, so if you want to give it a go every day until the contest closes, you’re totally welcome to do that. What’s better is that each correct guess you enter puts you in the running for the grand prize of $50,000. We’ve seen some pretty wacky Oreo flavors recently, so don’t be afraid to step outside of the box.
The last mystery flavor turned out to be Fruity Pebbles, so we’re thinking it’s got to be another cereal or snack food-inspired treat!
Get in Line at Your Grocery Store
The contest kicks off on September 16, leaving you only a few days to collect your thoughts before heading to your local grocery store. You’ve got more time to get your submissions in, as the challenge runs through November 10. Even if you can’t seem to unravel these Mystery Oreos, we imagine the flavor will be enough to keep you coming back for more.
