McDonald’s has been an American fast food staple since forever, and it’s the one-stop-shop for all your burger and coffee needs. They’re always passing out goodies like free Big Macs and ultra-rare McGold cards to loyal customers, and this week is no different.
Thanks to the McCafe It Forward program, you have until the weekend to get your hands on free McDonald’s coffee. What’s the catch? Well, you have to be really, really nice.
All About McCafe It Forward
This year is the 10th birthday of McCafe, and to celebrate, McDonald’s is paying it forward by rewarding customers who work hard for their community. Starting August 21, McDonald’s is handing out 500 McCafe It Forward cards nationwide, which reward you with a free hot or iced coffee. The free coffees only come in small, but you’ll never catch us turning down free McDonald’s coffee.
If you’re lucky enough to receive one of these cards, it’s your civic duty to grab your beverage and be a “Brew-Gooder” by passing the card on to someone who deserves a pick-me-up. Gift the card to the person of your choice or simply pass the card to the person behind you in the drive-thru. If someone offers you a McCafe It Forward card, definitely don’t be afraid to use it.

It Won’t Last Long
If you’re aching for a coffee right now, get into McDonald’s as soon as you can. The promotion only lasts until Friday, August 23, so you don’t have long to get rewarded and give back. Sadly, McCafe It Forward doesn’t include lattes with all the fancy fixings, but you can never go wrong with an iced coffee.
