This Is the Cutest Use for Cotton Candy You’ll See All Summer

Cotton candy is the perfect summer indulgence. It’s light, sweet and sticky—the perfect complement to an electrifying night at the fair or an all-American baseball game. Yet for some reason, cotton candy has become firmly planted in the “kids-only” food camp. Just like lollipops and sugary cereals, it seems that only the 10-and-under crowd can (unashamedly) indulge in colorful candy floss.

Well, not anymore. Today we’re going to show you how to transform the beloved childhood treat into an adults-only cocktail. This sweet recipe is perfect for holidays, baby showers (or a gender reveal party!) and warm summer nights—and you only need three ingredients!

How to Make Cotton Candy Cocktails

This recipe was developed by the Taste of Home Test Kitchen. It makes six tasty servings.

Ingredients:

  • 6 tablespoons raspberry-flavored vodka
  • 1 bottle (750 milliliters) champagne, chilled
  • 1-1/2 cups cotton candy (You can buy it at candy stores or online)

Step 1: Prep the Glasses

Start by adding 1 tablespoon of vodka to each of six champagne flutes. We love this vintage set ($18). Then, top each glass with champagne.

Step 2: Add the Cotton Candy

Divide the cotton candy into six pieces. Then, nestle a bundle of candy atop each champagne flute.

Step 3: Stir and Serve

To serve, stir the cotton candy into the glass with a cocktail stick ($20 for 12). Bottoms up!
