A honeybee can fly at 15mph. Flamingos turn pink from eating shrimp. Now add this to your list of random Snapple facts! The company best known for iced tea recently introduced a new summer fruit-inspired drink, Watermelon Lemonade.
What Does It Taste Like?
It’s pretty good! There’s one review on the company’s website that says, ” I took the first sip, and BOOM! I think I’m hooked. It’s the perfect balance of watermelon and lemonade, almost as if it were made of freshly squeezed lemons, straight from the tree; and crisp watermelon, ripe and oh-so-sweet.”
Snapple’s Facebook post says this summer flavor “tastes just like fruit.”
Who doesn’t enjoy the taste of fresh watermelon? (Especially when you know how to tell if a watermelon is ripe.) Mix that with the tart goodness of fresh lemonade and you have a winning combination.
If you’re feeling crafty, try your hand at making watermelon lemonade at home with this delicious recipe. It’s hard to beat the sweet-tart flavor.
Snapple Has More New Lemonade Flavors, Too
If watermelon is not your fruit of choice, Snapple has also introduced two more lemonade flavors: Strawberry Pineapple and Black Cherry. None of the flavors are actually iced tea, which is a bold move for Snapple! See how Snapple compares to other iced tea brands.
Where You Can Try Them
Snapple is sending the Watermelon Lemonade and its sibling lemonade flavors to most grocery stores. Look for 16-oz bottles on the shelf for about $1.39 each, as well as 6-packs of 16-oz bottles for $5.99. You can find them at Target for sure, though other retailers should have ’em as well.
