When it comes to Peeps, you either love ’em or you…don’t. Some people can’t get enough of these sugar-coated, marshmallowy critters, and some can’t stand them at all, but no one can deny Peeps are an absolute Easter staple. For those of you who like them, rejoice! Just like last year, six new flavors are hitting shelves for Easter.
This Year’s New Flavors
Don’t love sweet? Don’t worry! Peeps has catered to every taste bud this year. Blue Raspberry brings that sour punch while Root Beer Float satisfies all the cravings of the soda lover. The flavors are an unconventional split from the standard marshmallow treats we’re used to, but this isn’t the first time Peeps has deviated from the norm (like when they dropped their new breakfast cereal).
Here’s the full list of this year’s all-new Easter goodies:
- Blue Raspberry
- Root Beer Float
- Vanilla Crème Delights
- Strawberry Delights
- Coconut Delights
- Chocolate Caramel Swirl Filled Delights
What Are Delights?
It looks like Blue Raspberry and Root Beer Float pretty much align with the traditional sugar-encrusted Peeps formula, but the Delights are another story. Dipped in different, decadent fudgy flavors, they’re a real treat for any fan. Filled Delights, like the Chocolate Caramel Swirl, are both dipped in chocolate and stuffed to the brim with a tasty caramel filling.
Even if you’re not crazy about Peeps, any of these colorful cuties would look great as part of your Easter table centerpiece.

Here’s Where to Get Yours
To get your hands on a couple packages of these unique Peeps, you’ll have to skip your usual grocery store. The new flavors are available exclusively at Target. You can already buy some of them (here’s where to find Chocolate Caramel Swirl and Vanilla Crème), but others haven’t made it to the shelf just yet. Finding the Peeps will be like a real-life Easter egg hunt!
Use Your Peeps in a Clever Easter Dessert
The inspiration for this cake came from one of my favorite flowers, the sunflower. The yellow peeps make eye-catching flower petals, and I carefully placed chocolate chips in a circular pattern to resemble the seeds in the middle of a sunflower. This cake is easy, but looks quite impressive. —Bethany Eledge, Cleveland, Tennessee
