When I first got an email explaining M&M’s newest candy creation, I was completely in shock. Typically M&M’s likes to mess with new flavors—like testing out three new crunchy M&M flavors earlier this year, or the recently popular hot cocoa M&M’s. But this time, M&M’s is taking their love for chocolate to a whole new level by making a chocolate bar.

That’s right—M&M’s isn’t just little round candies anymore! Starting on December 7, M&M’s released their very first candy bar. This iconic candy brand decided to flip the candy inside out, letting you enjoy a ginormous chocolate bar filled with mini M&M’s. If this isn’t the definition of a Christmas miracle, I don’t know what is.
The M&M’s Chocolate Bar Flavors
M&M’s is certainly kicking off their new chocolate bars on a great note by releasing not one, not two, but five different chocolate bars! Along with the classic Milk Chocolate, you can buy the new M&M’s Chocolate Bar with Crispy, Peanut, Almond or even Crispy Mint M&M’s. Lucky for me, I had the chance to try each flavor.
To sum it up, this bar is nothing short of magical. I wouldn’t consider M&M’s to be my favorite candy, but I admit that these bars may potentially sway my opinion. It’s larger than most candy bars, perfect for the chocolate-obsessed.
The bar is made of classic milk chocolate and filled with mini M&M’s, giving it a satisfying crunch. The Peanut and Almond add a saltiness for those who love salty desserts (kind of like these Sweet & Salty Peanut Butter Bites). If you’re a fan of crunchy, the Crispy flavor is the perfect snack for you.
Personally, the Crispy Mint is my absolute favorite. It’s the perfect play off M&M’s Crunchy Mint flavor, which actually won this year’s Crunchy M&M competition.

How Long Are They on Shelves?
According to Mars, Inc.—the company that owns M&M’s—there doesn’t seem to be an end date set for these candy bars at the moment. They bars are for sale nationwide and may potentially be on shelves for good!
