Amazon Is Offering Free Shipping to Everybody—but Not for Long

Amazon has been steadily raising the bar for shopping, but the company’s latest move might be its best. Because as of right this minute, everything you order to be delivered by Christmas ships for FREE, with no minimum purchase. That includes our most helpful kitchen prep tools and top-rated kitchen gadgets! It could take up to eight business days—but otherwise, there’s no catch.

Here’s what you should know:

  • It works for all items with “FREE Shipping” on the product detail page.
  • Your order will be delivered in 5-8 business days.

Amazon’s not the only retailer with a shipping deal, though. Here’s what’s coming from Target and Walmart:

Target: Free Two-Day Shipping

Taking its cue from Amazon Prime, Target began offering free two-day shipping on all RedCard purchases earlier in 2018. But now Target is offering all its customers free two-day shipping on all orders placed until December 21, with no minimum purchase required. Plus, Target is also offering curbside pick-up at approximately 1,000 Target locations. (You simply order on Target.com and then head over to the store, where employees deliver your order to your car.)

Psst… Here’s the scientific reason why you spend so much at Target.

Walmart: Easy In-Store Returns

Hello, gorgeous kitchen goods at Walmart! You need to spend at least $35 for free two-day shipping, but Walmart is upping the returns game. You simply pack up the not-quite-right merchandise and bring everything to the Services desk at your local Walmart store. It’ll be shipped on your behalf—and you’ll receive a refund, of course. This could be a game-changer if you’re one of the 90% of Americans who live within 10 miles of a Walmart.
