Spritz cookies are a type of German cookie usually made with flour, butter, sugar, eggs and some sort of flavoring. They require a special cookie press that consists of a cylinder with a plunger on one end that’s used to push cookie dough through a hole at the other end. These cookies are often associated with Christmas, but they needn’t be limited to the holiday season—they’re delicious throughout the year!
